Episode 2 - Not a good week!
Sunday night before I went to sleep, I wrote up a schedule to see if I could stick to it - keeping in mind that I decided my procrastinating days were over. The 'to do list' included things I wanted to get done and what time I wanted to do them and how long I had to complete the task. I soon realised that this isn't so easy when you have a baby who isn't really worried about schedules or plan. I decided to forget about the time frames in my 'to do list' and just concentrated on completing the task, as long as I done it before the end of the day. Apart from the timing part of the 'to do list' it was going great. So was the new diet and exercise plan - this however only lasted two days. I ended up in hospital with my daughter. There I was at the hospital eating potatoe chips, chocolate, drinking fizzy drinks, basically all the foods that were not part of the diet. Needless to say the exercise came to a halt as well. So as another new week arrives, I hope I stick to the original plan - lose weight, self-improvement etc. Finger's crossed...Let's see how we do this week?? Episode 1 - The END of procrastination.Almost a week has gone by since I stumbled across my great epiphany - being happy and content within myself in order to be truely happy and content - and I haven't really done anything to achieve this, apart from one minor detail....planning. I spent the last week figuring out how and what I could do that would help me achieve this goal, and as the week comes to an end, I am happy with my plan. All I have to do now is put it into action. So the plan is, as of Monday (thought I'd start off at the beginning of a new week), I'll start my diet and actually use my cross-trainer which has been collecting dustly lately. I've joined the 'Water Challenge' on EP, and so far I'm doing pretty good. And I'll also be joining the 'Lose Weight Challenge' and the 'Stop Procrastinating Challenge' to help me along the way. As the week comes to an end, so does do my days of procrastination (fingers crossed)... Wonder how the week will turn out??? A random thought -Have you ever had a conversation where you find yourself saying, 'You know they say you don't know what you have till it's gone?' or 'You know they say you should always listen to what your mother say's?'. My question is, who exactly are "they"? - Just a random thought. The Beginning!
I joined Experience Project in the hope that it will help me along my path of self-discovery, of self-improvement. Basically finding out who I am and how I can be happy and content with my life. I am a 21yr old single mom to my very beautiful 5month baby girl. I live with my parent's, my brother and my sister. I have a big extended family (Think "My Big Fat Greek Wedding' big) who I consider my immeadiate family and love very much. I have a few close friends who are so great. Ever since the birth of my baby, I don't feel like going out and seeing people. I'd rather stay home. I don't stay in contact with them. When my friends ask if they can come visit, I make up excuses. When my phone rings or someone sends me a text, I don't usually reply. More and more with eacy day that passes, I feel like im becoming a recluse or something? So here I am, beginning my journey of self-discovery, re-invention and being truely happy and content within myself and my life. RE-INVENTION HERE I COME!!
